6ENSE’s Comeback Song “Muni-Muni” Turns a City Pop Love Song into a Bold Statement on Obsession, Fame, and Power

The P-pop group’s dreamy anthem hides a striking social commentary in its music video twist.
Rising P-pop boy group 6ENSE returns with their newest single Muni Muni (under Sony Music Philippines), a nostalgic yet refreshing City Pop-inspired track that celebrates the butterflies of having a crush, even when it’s one-sided. But while the song captures the innocent thrill of daydream love, its music video takes a daring turn, revealing a powerful hidden message about obsession, fame, and abuse of power.
Produced by Ken Ponce and written by Wiji, the group’s leader, Muni Muni completes 6ENSE’s three-part trilogy on love. Following Amin Amin (the wait for confession) and Para Sa Iyo (the fear of admitting feelings), this third installment shifts to a new perspective: a crush that never interferes. It’s love at a distance: harmless, happy, and content with just the daydreams, butterflies, and “what ifs.”
“Mas masarap magkacrush kapag walang chance,” the boys sing a line that has quickly resonated with fans who embrace the joy of admiration without expectation.
